This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the LearnerPrep AU website and waitlist. LearnerPrep AU is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with VicRoads, Service NSW, TMR, or any other licensing authority.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address (required)
- Your Australian state or territory, if you choose to share it (optional)
- Technical details needed to run the form securely (for example, the time you submitted it, and basic server logs)
If you email us, we also keep the content of that message so we can reply.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use waitlist emails for ads.
Why we collect it
- To email you when LearnerPrep AU is ready to download, and for important updates about the app
- To understand roughly where interest is coming from (if you pick a state)
- To respond if you contact us
- To keep the waitlist form secure (spam and bot checks)
How we store and share it
Waitlist signups are stored in our WordPress admin for LearnerPrep AU. A notification may also be emailed to our team when someone signs up. Access is limited to people who manage the site for Opus Novum.
We may use hosting and email providers that process data on our behalf, only to run the website and send those messages. We do not share waitlist emails with unrelated third parties for their marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist emails until launch notifications are finished, or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first. Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your choices
Email support@learnerprep.com.au to ask what we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, or unsubscribe / delete your waitlist signup. We will action reasonable requests as soon as we can.
Children
LearnerPrep AU is aimed at learner drivers and the people helping them prepare. If you are under 15, please only join the waitlist with a parent or guardian's OK.
Overseas disclosure
Our hosting or email tools may store or process data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we still expect those providers to protect the information appropriately.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and, where it makes sense, note the change on the site.
App Store / Google Play
When the LearnerPrep AU apps ship, in-app purchase and device data will be covered by an updated privacy policy and the stores' own rules. Until then, this page covers the website and waitlist only.
